Having completed his first test in his Clio Cup racer Max enthused, “I am delighted to be welcoming another great partner in Clements to our list of sponsors. They are an exciting company and one I am looking forward to developing a relationship with. With additional support from Harron Homes and JT Atkinson and continued contracts with both Primex and PLASgran, 2017 is shaping up to be a fantastic season for me. We have already started our pre-season testing and are far better prepared than this time 12 months ago. We finished 3rd last year and I’m hoping the experience gained both by myself and the team can help us to climb the final two spots and become champions in 2017.”
Robin Duxbury, Projects Director at Clements POS, said, “We are delighted to be working with Max in 2017. There is no doubting his ability behind the wheel of a racing car as evidenced in his results last year. Max is more than just a racing driver, he has an impressive following both at the track, watching on ITV4 and online. We look forward to working with Max and his other partners throughout the year and to developing his range of merchandise.”
Max will be in attendance at the Renault UK Clio Cup media day tomorrow where he will unveil his new livery for the 2017 season, which has been developed and brought to life with the support of Clements. Max will be working with the team at Clements to develop his range of merchandise which is hoped will be announced soon. The championship will begin at Brands Hatch on 1st and 2nd April 2017 where fans will be able to watch the races at the track or at home via ITV4’s live TV coverage.
