Following a hugely successful launch for their Shoe Galleries, Selfridges wanted to progress their overall second floor refurbishment plan. This area is called the “Women’s Designer Galleries East”. Clements was appointed to manage the full turnkey installation for three individual galleries – Alexander McQueen, Dries van Noten and Lanvin.

This collective project (in terms of management and supervision) enabled us to stay on schedule throughout the programme, frequently moving operatives between locations if one was showing signs of falling behind.

The Women’s Designer Galleries are referred to as a “premium” room by Selfridges and this is certainly the case with the three projects completed by Clements. Each branded area has been given its own identity in terms of flooring and material patterns and individual designs are contemporary and inventive.
